By 1900, cameras were made available in the mass market.  When someone wanted a picture of themselves or a specific place; they could now just snap a photo.  They no longer had to commission an artist to draw or paint a realistic picture.  Paintings were no longer the main way to permanently record this information.  Artists at the turn of the century began to experiment with new ways of creating art.  This course is a studio class which explores these new ideas and trends.
