Light Writing Light writing occurs when a photographer captures long exposures of moving light sources such as flashlights, glowsticks, car headlights, etc. While the shutter remains open, the camera records the path of the light. TRIPOD NECESSARY!!! MODE: Manual Mode (M) ISO: 400-1600 APERTURE(S): Low f-stops (Environment becomes more visible/lighter) High f-stops (Environment is less visible/dark) SHUTTER SPEED(S): 5”-30” (Allows the light to enter and collect in the camera for a set amount of time – in full seconds) BULB setting (Allows custom timing of the shutter speed) | Photo by SKHS student, Jake Brown |
