Advanced Placement: Studio Art Drawing

AP Art is designed for highly motivated students who are seriously interested in the creative art experience. This class is portfolio based in which students, who are ready for the challenges of college level work, create a large body of quality artwork. This College Board certified course reflects three areas of study: The creation of Quality Drawings, development of a personalConcentration, and Breadth of experience and choice. Students are expected to put in many hours of work outside the regularly scheduled class period.

Quality Drawings:	Shoes	Bicycle
Quality Drawings are 5 actual works that submitted to the College Board. Students are to demonstrate quality through carefully selected examples of their work. mastery of drawing should be apparent in the composition, concept, execution, whether they be simple or complex.
