Course Objectives

The student
o       demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and practices associated with apparel construction.

o       demonstrates basic skills needed to create, alter, and repair textile products.

Demonstrates competence using a variety of sewing equipment, tools and supplies for apparel and textile construction.

Demonstrates basic skills for producing and altering textile products and apparel.

Evaluates various textile fibers and materials.
