South Kingstown High School is located on the Atlantic Coast, 32 miles south of Providence, Rhode Island, in the village of Wakefield. The town covers an area of 63 square miles with a population of 28,000. The main campus of the University of Rhode Island is within five miles of South Kingstown High School.

Faculty & Staff
The professional staff includes 120 classroom teachers including 17 special education teachers. There are 6 school counselors, 1 media specialist, as well as a school nurse, two school psychologists, a social worker and a student assistance counselor. We have 14 para-professional aides to also support teaching and learning.
The administrative staff consists of a principal, 2 assistant principals, an assistant principal for teaching and learning, an athletic director (K-12), and department chairs in the areas of business, English, foreign language, mathematics, science, social studies, health/physical education, special education, unified arts and guidance.
