Dance
CourseĀ Objectives
o Students will learn a variety of line dances
o Develop the proper dance steps associated with each dance
o Respect the different ability levels of each individual in the class
o Students will be responsible for choreographing and performing a dance
Performance Indicators
The students will:
o Demonstrate competency in the following steps/movements: grapevine, swivel, paddle, pivot turns, hitch kick, fan
o Demonstrate the ability to combine, memorize, and perform a sequence of steps/movements to a variety of dances
o Demonstrate confidence and maturity while performing a self-created dance
