Welcome to the Mathematics Department
Imagine a classroom where all students have access to high quality, engaging mathematics instruction. That classroom is here at South Kingstown High School. Our mathematics curriculum is rich and offers students opportunities to learn important mathematical concepts and processes. Our objective is to encourage students to be resourceful problem solvers. It is no longer acceptable to say “I can’t do math” or “I’m not good at math.” We believe that everyone is capable of learning mathematics and our goal is to ensure that our students be confident in their ability to “do math.”
