CourseĀ  Objectives

o       Recognize the importance of proper safety procedures and care of equipment
o       Learn the basic skills to effectively participate in a game of lacrosse
o       Develop hand-eye coordination and a variety tasks leading to the ability to a
o       track a moving ball
o       Develop an understanding of the rules and positions associated with the sport of
o       lacrosse
o       Respect the individual differences of students

o       Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the care, safety and use of equipment
o       Demonstrate proficiency in the following skills: cradling, underhand and overhand passing, catching,                       scooping and shooting skills
o       Apply the rules and develop a basic understanding of positions
