o Learn the basic skills of golf
o Learn the rules and etiquette of golf
o Familiarize themselves with proper golf terminology
o Learn to properly score a round of golf
o Learn basic knowledge of care and use of equipment
Performance Indicators
o Demonstrate proficiency in the following skills:
o address position, fill swing, grip, approach shots, bunker shots, uneven lies, sand shots, fairway shots and putting
o Define the proper terminology in golf
o Apply the rules of golf in a game situation
o Develop and increased level of agility, coordination and kinesthetic sense
